Pre-med Guidance

Our bi-directional model enables you to not only mentor others, but to receive guidance as well. Our Founder is a current Medical Student at Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons.

Mentor students

Inspire and guide students to create projects that impact communities, expand on research, or share narratives.

Time Commitment

You can expect to spend around 1 hour a week, but many times our students choose to devote more time to our diverse programming.

Diverse Opportunities

As a field, global health encompasses a broad array of topics. In Vision, we take advantage of that by not only working with students tackling various issues, but also using different modalities including community interventions, research projects, narrative documenting, case study analysis, and academic development.

Presentations & Publications

As a student organization, we understand the value that presentations and publications have in career development. There are opportunities for oral/poster presentations through our annual conferences. There are even opportunities to submit work for peer-review journal publication

Vision takes advantage of the diversity within global health to bring together individuals interested in medicine, civic engagement, public health, and more.
